The first group of Country Travelers. Skeeter Rinehammer on bass, Scottie on drums, Yours Truly,. Barry Kremser on pedal steel and Carl Marckowski on guitar and vocals.
Changed name to The Fabulous Country Travelers, and began touring throughout the northeastern United States. Tommy Rynick; Dee Hess, vocals and flattop guitar; Kim Rescorla, drums; Karl Kohl, reigning banjo picking champion; Steve Oley, bass.
We had to keep up with the Buckaroos. Dee Hess went on to pursue her own career, and was replaced by Norma Shirley. We also added Homer Clark on fiddle to the group. Homer Clark had entered the northeastern united states fiddle contest and took top trophy
