Well, this song kind of tells the story of when I was younger, always wandered what it was like in the rest of the world. I really did have strong roots, and I knew I would never move from where I was born and raised, I guess thats what drove me to expand the territory where I performed my music. I really did get to see a lot of this here country and meet a lot of wonderful people while traveling around playing my music. I think I did satisfy some of the Gypsy in me.

GYPSY FEVER     Well so long pretty woman, it's a line that's been said so many times before,  Now I've got to say it to you, gotta satisfy this longin in my soul. Gonna head on down the highway, find a place to take off these ole shoes.  Now I know I'm not a drifter, I never did a thing, to make you believe, that I would pack up and leave you, but this feelin, well it's got a hold on me. Now I'm leavin here tomorrow, there's a place on down the road I've got to see.  So don't you try to stop me, and don't you feel too bad when I'm gone. But I've got this Gypsy fever, I guess I must have Gypsy in my blood.  Well, I was born in this ole town, my root are runnin deep, just like a big oad tree, But I know it's now or never, Gotta find out what it is keeps callin me, Now it's time to move along, and see if there's a place I'd rather be.  So don't you try and stop me, and don't you feel too bad when I'm gone. Cause I 've got this Gypsy fever, I guess I must have Gypsy in my blood. Yeh I've got this Gypsy fever, I guess I must have Gypsy in my blood.
